Kastello Kalliste is our largest villa, which sits at the edge of one of Crete’s most beautiful beaches. Ferma Beach is a gorgeous cove like, crystalline blue beach, which is home to a seaside village with lots of small tavernas and restaurants. Kastello Kalliste is situated just off the main road in the town. After a short drive down a beautiful, private driveway, visitors find themselves gazing at a Mediterranean paradise of sun-bathed elegance and splendor.

Kastello Kalliste is a two story 7-bedroom villa, with a separate one-bedroom bungalow situated at the edge of an enormous pool. The villa can sleep up to 18 people and has all the amenities you will need for the vacation of a lifetime.

Wine Dark Sea provides you with all the services you want to best accommodate you and your family’s needs or desires. We can offer the services of a hotel with the additional privacy and comfort that only comes with staying in an elegant home on the beach. The services are offered on an à la carte basis, to best accommodate each guest’s needs and wants.

First Floor:
A spacious entrance into a large living room faces the beach and the pool patio, providing you with a private window to paradise. The living room has custom furniture made to accommodate large families in full comfort and luxury. The dining room has a custom-made table for large families, which will make you feel you are dining in a castle with the comforts of the modern era. Our dining room offers guests a unique view of the beautiful pool courtyard that faces the beach. The kitchen is at the right of the entrance, designed to be both accessible and spacious as to make a chef feel right at home. There is a bedroom on the first floor for those who need (or simply prefer) to avoid the second floor. This first-floor bedroom has its own access to the pool, courtyard, and path to the beach.

Second Floor:
Climb up the beautiful marble stairs to the foyer upstairs to view our two en-suite master bedrooms on opposite ends of the second floor. Each master bedroom offers stunning views of the beach, with private balconies overlooking the pool and ocean.

Each bedroom is tastefully decorated and designed for maximum comfort.
There are four other bedrooms, two bedrooms that face the beach and have views of the sea and poolside, with balconies that allow our guests to fully appreciate these gorgeous views. The two remaining bedrooms have balconies with side views that overlook the mountains and a partial view of the sea.

The Bungalow:
The villa has a separate standalone bungalow, complete with a bedroom and kitchen for guests wanting a little extra privacy from the rest of the family. The bungalow has a view of the beach and is next to the pool. There is a private bathroom and shower and small living area to maximize guest comfort.

We have created a truly special and spacious poolside courtyard with enough room to cater to large weddings and special events, all set in a gorgeous Mediterranean environment that will make the perfect background for incredible photographs. We have designed a beautiful garden setting which has the beautiful Ferma Beach as its background. Special events and weddings will take on a romantic and fairytale atmosphere which will be worthy of your most special events. The courtyard has its own public bathrooms for large events and for pool use.
The edge of the courtyard that faces the beach has a garden sitting area for enjoying the views of the beach at all times of the day and night, in private comfort. There is a private step path from the property to the beach, with a locked gated entrance to the beach.
